Established artist and World Vision sponsor Morgan Gibbs has offered “Savannah Life” a remarkable oil painting as a donation to our Horn of Africa Appeal.
Morgan was inspired to create “Savannah Life” after a recent trip to Kenya where he visited the Masai Mara. “The landscape and people of Kenya were so beautiful and welcoming on my trip that once I heard from World Vision that they are fundraising for the Horn of Africa Drought, I really wanted to help!”
The painting truly expresses Morgan’s passion for wildlife. As an artist, Morgan’s work has attracted a lot of interest both nationally and internationally and his works can be found in private collections in Ireland, Europe and the States.
“Savannah Life” is oil on canvas and 20” x 30” in size and carries a value of €1,000.00 - €1200.00.
Morgan has generously donated “Savannah Life” to World Vision to raise funds for our Horn of Africa Appeal and it is available for bidding on eBay right now.
The Horn of Africa has been hit by the worst drought in 60 years, forcing many people to leave their homes in search for food and ending in refugee camps. In two regions of Somalia, famine has been declared, this means that more than 2 people in 10,000 die every day as a result of food shortage and more than 30% of children are acutely malnourished.
This is a unique opportunity to own this original artwork while supporting the World Vision Horn of Africa Appeal.
