Journalists

As we work with local staff in our Area Development Programmes (ADPs), we can provide up to date information, direct form the field, on the communities and countries we work in.

Thanks to our long experience in development issues and community projects, we can provide the press with interviews and commentaries on many of the current issues affecting children in the developing world.

We can provide detailed information on issues that World Vision Ireland is particularly focused on such as HIV/AIDS, the orphaned child and education for young women and girls.

World Vision has access to an extensive photo library of more than 30,000 professionally taken, quality slides of our work, issues, children and communities throughout the developing world.

At least once a year World Vision Ireland Programmes staff will travel to our ADPs and Government funded projects in East and West Africa. This provides an opportunity for members of the press to contact World Vision Ireland for the purpose of researching issues affecting any countries in these regions. Our Programmes staff can help with stories, case studies, and interviews from the field and first hand knowledge.

World Vision Ireland would also welcome any members of the press if they wish to accompany our Programmes staff on a field trip for the purpose of journalistic research.
