On Jan 12th 2010, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti, the most powerful quake to hit in more than 200 years. The impact and aftershocks were devastating.

World Vision, already present in Haiti at the time of the earthquake, responded immediately to meet the needs of survivors.
With the help of our supporters, over the past two years;
And these are just some of the great achievements over the past year. But despite the significant progress made, more still needs to be done as our report "Two Years On - Haiti Earthquake Response" explains.
Haiti’s reconstruction will take years. Leaving Haiti better than before the earthquake will take decades. The government of Haiti is tasked with the huge responsibility of rebuilding a country, reviving an economy and ensuring that the children of this tiny island nation are equipped and motivated to carry this task into the future.
World Vision was active in Haiti supporting its people before the earthquake and we will continue to stand by and support them as they build a brighter tomorrow.
Our work can only take place with your help. Thank you!
