Fiona MacLeod

Fiona qualified in medicine at Saint George's Hospital Medical School, London, in 1982 and obtained her Masters degree in Health Services Management at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 1995. She has worked in both hospitals and general practice in the UK and Ireland. She has also worked in economically developing and transitional countries such as Peru, Angola and the Republic of Macedonia, in her clinical capacity as well as in the fields of public health, health service development and research. Fiona lectures in the School of Public Health in UCC. She believes that the mission of World Vision matched her own aspirations to engage with, and facilitate where possible, those living in poverty and disadvantage through inequality.
