10 years of war in Syria

A decade of war in Syria

Join us as we work in the world's toughest places

10 years of war in Syria can’t become 10 more.

Ten years of war in Syria represents the greatest humanitarian failure of our time.

In fact, the only thing most Syrian children know is a life of war.

Together with our partners and through support of our donors, we have been working to support children, their families and host communities affected by the conflict in Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey and Syria since 2011. Over the past decade, our programmes have reached nearly 6.5 million children.

But more needs to be done if this generation of children--Syria's future--is to be equipped with the skills and tools they need to be able to rebuild their lives and country, once the fighting stops.

Voices of Children in Syria

For 10 years, our country has been at war. Many of us have lost loved ones, homes and dreams for the future. We want to go back to school. We want safety, warm food and clean water. We don’t want to lose anyone else. Now is the time to say enough is enough. The violence must end. We need to believe in peace again. Please don’t forget us.
