When he was younger, Felisberto was a sponsored child who benefited from the first work of World Vision in his community. Becoming a teacher was a wish that World Vision helped Felisberto to pursue.

After 14 years of sponsorship, 22-year-old Gandulam has graduated from one of the best law schools in Mongolia.

At the age of four, former sponsored child Mazuba's family were supported by World Vision to purchase a cow, which he then turned into 20 cows. 

Though Kumila grew up belonging to a marginalised community and confined by poverty, she still dreamt big. Today, the 26-year-old former sponsored child has graduated from university and works as a local news anchor.

Along with her younger siblings, Devika was sponsored through World Vision at 12 years old. Her father is a farmer and part-time mason, so money was tight. 

While child sponsorship supports the child’s whole community and not just the child it also gives you the chance to develop a relationship with your sponsored child through letters, progress reports and even community visits.
