Ukraine Crisis Appeal

Children affected by the Ukraine crisis urgently need help

The escalation of conflict in Ukraine has forced more than 3.5 million people - mostly women and children - to flee to neighbouring countries. With the escalating crisis, the casualties, the number of displaced and the needs are growing by the hour. One in five Ukrainian children is now living as a refugee.

Since the conflict started, our teams have been on the ground assessing and responding to the urgent needs of those searching for safety. We are working to support refugees in Romania, Georgia and Moldova as well as internally displaced people in Ukraine.

Our response to date includes providing food, water, hygiene kits to affected families in Ukraine and Romania and we are mobilising teams to meet the needs of growing refugee populations in Georgia and Moldova.

Vulnerable children will bear the brunt of this crisis. Your donation today can help provide children and families searching for a safe haven with protection and psychosocial support including child friendly spaces.

How your donation helps

The funds you donate to this emergency appeal will support emergency response for displaced children and families in the Ukraine and neighbouring countries. We will use donations in the Ukraine through partners when it is possible. If this is not possible or in the unlikely event we receive more donations than we need for this emergency, the donations will be used to help displaced and refugee populations elsewhere in the Middle East and Eastern European region.

We stand ready to support those affected, as the violence takes its toll on children, forcing them from their homes as they flee in search of safety.
