Trustee with Finance Experience
World Vision Ireland is seeking non-Executive Directors to join its Board of Trustees, providing governance oversight, strategic direction and legal stewardship. We welcome candidates who share our mission to help the most vulnerable children overcome poverty and experience life in all its fullness, inspired by our Christian faith. The current vacancy is in Finance.
We are looking for enthusiastic, qualified individuals to help guide World Vision Ireland as we deliver our ambitious FY24-FY27 Strategy, Our Promise. Trustees can contribute within the world’s largest child-focused relief and development agency, working with Board colleagues across the Partnership to shape and strengthen our impact.
As part of our commitment to achieving greater gender balance on the Board, we are especially keen to hear from female candidates who meet the requirements of this role.

Staff engagement and wellbeing are vital
Staff engagement and well-being is an ongoing priority for WVIRE. To ensure employee engagement and well-being WVIRE has an EAP, Health care plan, generous pension contribution and 26 annual leave days. We foster work-life balance with flexible and remote working options. Our core hours from 10am – 4pm allow the team to be flexible with the start and finishing times. We also have an employee recognition initiative that recognises length of service, with our Finance Director receiving his 5-year service award in June 2024. Our Staff Days every quarter are an opportunity for each department to give an update, but more importantly we connect with one another. At the annual Staff BBQ where we go from colleagues to friends. For a time the team relax and see each other as the human beings we are.
